Okay, I'll explain this better, and to do so, I'll have to go back in time...

Two weeks ago, I was happily writing a devlog confirming the official release date of Be Cube Colony Stars, and everything was beautiful! The next day, I sat in front of the computer full of ideas and...
[error message]

"Okay... so I'll just restart and..."
[error message]

"Hmnnnnn... right... maybe if I try in a few hours it will come back..."
[a few hours later]

"Now yes! I'll turn it on and..."
Spoiler: The computer didn't turn on and later I discovered it had caught a virus and erased 95% of its memory.

And yes, it's real. I really wish it was one of my pranks, but it's not.
But, incredibly enough, that same week I had backed up the Be Cube files, so... it suffered almost nothing...
...
(It's even strange to say that the Cube suffered nothing)
But, on the other hand, several development files were deleted... including SpinMipe, and guess what? I had never backed it up!

(you don't even need to tell you how brilliant I am, because I've been saying this to myself ever since)
So, yeah, SpinMipe died, the game file was completely deleted, leaving only one frame of the Mipe itself that's used on the covers...

Whether I like it or not, this was a painfully important lesson for me. I learned the value of having a backup system in the game development process. Well, you never know what might happen. And when my PC came back, I made a backup system, and everything, because there's no worse feeling than seeing your work disappear overnight.
So that's it...
RIP SpinMipe...

No... I don't want this project to end like this. It wasn't just a vision in my head anymore. It was real, it still is, and people genuinely liked it. It has potential! It has soul...
It might not have the depth of Be Cube, but it has its own depth: the simple style, the multiplayer, Mipe itself. This game, in its short lifespan, has proven that it can be something as special as Be Cube!
And...
Enough drama, you already know where I'm going with this: I'm going to remake SpinMipe, and I'm going to use this redevelopment phase to make it better than before! The old version had several bugs, collision errors, a lack of options, etc. For many, this would be the end of this project. For me, it's the perfect opportunity to apply what I've learned during this time and take it to another level!
When I created this game, I was an exhausted developer wanting to create something playable to release at the Game Jam. Today, still a bit tired, I'm going to recreate it because I care about SpinMipe itself!
So yeah, this isn't a goodbye to the game, it's just a...
